Money: Good or Bad?

What comes into your mind when you hear the magic word "money
"? Few weeks ago, during our fellowship, our topic was WAYS TO FINANCIAL FREEDOM. As an introduction, Kuya Rod, our speaker asked this question: DO YOU WANT TO BE RICH? Almost all of us said YES except Bernie. His reason was, he doesn't want to be manipulated by his wealth, like what happened to his relative somewhere here in Davao. But eventually he changed his answer when he heard our reasons of becoming rich. Second question that was given to us, HOW DO YOU SEE MONEY? A lot of ideas were given. But this one really caught our attention. This idea was given by John, from San Pedro College (SPC). According to him, money is like a vacuum. Yung bang vacuum cleaner. Kasi daw pag wala kang pera, or when you are in need of it, para ka raw hihigupin nito para magkapera ka. At kung may pera ka na, hihigupin ka na naman nito kung saan mo igagasta. ( HHHHHmmmm.. Ito ba yung explanation mo John?) Halos same lang yung sagot namin. Money is an instrument. And it's up to you on how will you use it. We can never say that money is from Satan. Or money is the root of all evils. Since money can save life. It can buy our necessities and ect,for our survival. Money itself is a gift from God. And it depends on how we spend it.

Another definition of money according to Kuya Rod. Money is a great magnifier. It magnifies your intentions whether good or bad, if you have money. If your intention is good, it magnifies your goodness. Same as bad intention. Diba astig?!!!
